IMTEC-ANA-LIA is an indirect membrane based enzyme immunoassay for the qualitative measurement of IgG class antibodies against Nucleosome, dsDNA, Histone, SmD1, U1-snRNP, SS-A/Ro 60, SS-A/Ro 52, SS-B/La, Scl70, CENP-B, Jo-1 and ribosomal P protein (P0) in human serum or plasma. The assay is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only as an aid in the diagnosis of connective tissue diseases.

Antinuclear antibodies (ANA) are autoantibodies of different specificity directed against antigens of the cell nucleus. In general ANA can be divided into antibodies aiming at extractable nuclear antigens (ENA), nonextractable nuclear antigens and cytoplasmatically located antigens.
